Weevils

No matter how scrupulously you clean your kitchen, you may still open your cabinets one day to find them crawling with tiny beetles.

Weevils can ruin your food and multiply fast!

BOOM can help identify the source of the weevil infestation. Our team is trained to help get rid of weevils and to help keep weevils from invading your home.

What do Weevils look like?

Weevils can have a wide variety of colors and body shapes. However, the most common weevils are usually darkish brown to black with a slender or oval shape. The most distinctive feature is the shape of their head. An adult weevil has an elongated head that forms a snout.

Behavior & Habits

Weevils love to eat plants and can be destructive to a wide variety of crops. Most of these guys can be found in gardens, orchards or fields, but when they make it into your home, you’ll most likely find hundreds of them crawling on the windows and walls.

Your New Roommates

They can invade your home in great numbers, so it’s important that you seek professional help before you have a full out infestation on your hands.

I bet you didn’t know this:

Some weevils have snouts that are as long as their entire body.

Do-it-Yourself Ineffectiveness

Most storebought weevil insecticides do not kill the main source of the weevil infestations. Therefore, without specific identification and a professional treatment, weevil control cannot be treated effectively. Also, do-it-yourself remedies don’t account for the fact that different kinds of weevil infestations require different treatments.
